Halloween 3D News

You would think that with Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 being so horendiously terrible that any thought of another Halloween move would be out the door.  Well, your wrong.  Leave it to Hollywood to beat a dead horse.

Patrick Lussier, who is currently filming Drive Angry, told MTV that he may not be involoved in Halloween 3D once he is done with his current project.  He had developed the story with Todd Farmer and pitched it to Demension Films.
"The film that we wrote took place, like, the next frame after Rob's 'Halloween II' ended and immediately went into stripping Michael Myers back to his John Carpenter roots," Lussier tells MTV. "That's what we did very quickly. And then you pick up the story a year later as Halloween rolls around again. Everybody's back in the fray. That was our goal."

Now, he says it's all a matter of timing and what the company wants to do.  He knows a sinking ship when he sees one.  I personally would like to see Halloween go back to the Carpenter version because Meyers's character was creepy.  However, I really don't see this project getting off the ground anytime soon, if at all.
