'The Goonies' - Reunion and Deleted Scenes

Apparently, there was a "Goonies' reunion over the weekend.  During the festivities, a documentary of the making of the film was shown.  It was also mentioned that a possible sequel may or may not be happening, and that there is a Broadway play in the works.  There were also several deleted scenes that were shown.  One, featured below, is a fight scene with a giant octopus:

Another deleted scene was of two gorillas.  Yes...two gorillas:
"...[Spielberg] himself originally filmed a scene involving two escaped gorillas that steal a "red convertible and go tooling around town," according to the film's director, Richard Donner.

In that now-lost scene, the primates escape from a circus act when a police officer hears "frantic pounding and agonized screams" from the back of a van. Ripping open the door, the gorillas bowl over the cop and take off in the convertible of the preppy jock character (Steve Antin). Why was such a wild scene cut out? "I don't think the ape suits really worked," Donner admits. Considering the ape suits came from the justifiably forgotten movie "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes," it's easy to see what he's talking about."
Also, Corry Feldmen was there and took a moment to bring up Corey Haim as is his custom these days.  Nothing kills a party faster than bringing up your dead friend whose memory/legacy (if he had on) you constantly mooch off of.
