Movie Review: Matrix Revolutions (2003)

Starring - Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving

Quite frankly, this movie sucked major ass. It was better than Reloaded but it still sucked. It sucked so bad, I won't even bother with my typical review format.

Neo spends the first part of the movie bitching about being in a subway station of sorts. He's still 'jacked in' to the matrix even thought he is not physically attached. Morpheus, Trinity, and that other guy (Collin Chou) go to see the weird French guy to find out where Neo is. After some retarded fight scenes, they find him.

Neo then fights with that dude that was taken over by Anderson. Neo lives but get his eyes fried out of his head. He and Trinity go to the Machine City with Morpheus (heh...I like 'Orpheus' better [from Scary Movie 3] ) acting as a decoy of sorts. Morpheus gets back to Zion in time but the city is under siege by the Machines. Meanwhile, Neo and Trinity get to the city but crash the ship. Trinity dies and Neo goes on.

At this point, the movie lost all credibility because Neo goes on about how much he loves her and how he can't go on without her. She dies and he squeezes out one tear and then takes off. He might as well have just shrugged his shoulders, said "Oh well...", and skipped merrily away.

Anyway, he makes a deal with the machines and takes on Anderson, who had recently merged with the Oracle. If she really saw it coming, why let it happen?. They fight and Neo gets turned into an 'Anderson Bot'. All the Andersons then explode and the machines stop attacking Zion. Everything and one lives happily ever after.

As for Neo...the machines drag his sorry ass off, hopefully never to be seen in a sequel again as long as we all shall live.

If you haven't seen it yet, don't bother. It not even worth seeing at a dollar movie or downloading a pirated copy off The Pirate Bay.

My Rating - 0 Stars
